One of the issues to be addressed is where to store the toilet paper. This is something that many people overlook when designing a room, but in reality it is very important. If it is a smaller bathroom you might want to keep toilet paper out of the room entirely. If there is a hall closet or space that you can take, you will be better to keep it there to take up unnecessary space in the bathroom.It is important to determine who will be using this bathroom. Of course, nothing is written in stone, but for example if you are redoing the bathroom of children, there are different elements that need to be included in the room. You probably need more storage space, such as bath toys.
Also consider the towel storage. There is always at least one sink in each bathroom for want of space to store a few towels. Customers should not have to search around for towels, when in the bathroom. If you want to have a bath or shower or just washing hands and face, should be ample space for towel storage. It can be really functional. Use a towel racks just attached to the wall, use a washcloth suspended on the wall, and then store some extras in the bathroom vanity.
